current needs

Niña needs our help!

She’s only 3 years old and was found abandoned outside a neighborhood shop in Tulum, Mexico just after recently having puppies. Sadly, her first vet visit showed she has heartworm.

The good news is, she has started treatment! Now she needs an echocardiogram (heart scan) to see how advanced it is and to plan her full care. The scan costs ~$95usd (1700mxn) and she has an appointment for the vet to administer the scan on September 17.

Niña is a small (24lbs/11kg), sweet and friendly, girl who deserves a chance at a long, happy life! Her local rescue team of are all working hard to get her fully healed so she can find her forever home!

You can help Niña by sharing, or donating through the PayPal link in our bio (cards are accepted through that link – you do not have to have a PayPal account). Or you can Zelle us at info@peoplesupportingpaws.org Every bit helps!! Thank you for giving Niña a shot! 🫶

adopt

mango

***UPDATE***
As of 6/21/25 Mango has been adopted!

Mango is a one-year old  – born Feb/March 2024 – medium sized male, who was rescued from an abandoned hotel where he was left alongside his three siblings and mother (who have all since found their forever homes).
Mango is currently living with a foster family in Cancun, Mexico where he does very well with their cats and children. He is potty trained, walks on a leash, goes for car rides, is also great with dogs and he loves adventure! He would do well with an active adopter who could take him hiking, running, swimming etc.
Mango has received all his vaccinations, is neutered, and can travel anywhere to his forever home in the US, Canada or Mexico.

Please contact us for an adoption application if Mango sounds like the guy for you!
